Move over #ManBunMonday, there's a new sheriff in town.
#DryJanuary is a new-ish movement where people abstain from drinking alcohol during the month of January. Some people do it to help shed the 5 or 10 pounds of cushion they packed on after all the holiday parties and Christmas cookies. Others do it to let their liver heal and prove they don't have a drinking problem.
No matter what motivated Dry January, it's actually a lot harder than it sounds. Alcohol is everywhere... work happy hours, date night dinner and drinks, night on the town with friends, unwinding with a glass of wine after a hard day's work.
Take 5 is a great alternative to alcohol. Take 5 can help level out nerves and reduce tension after a long day. It's non-drowsy, so you won't miss a beat if you're at work or out with friends. And Take 5 creates a sense of relaxation, similar to the calming feeling you get after drinking a glass of wine or a beer.
We'd like to propose a toast to everyone participating in #DryJanuary. Keep it up! And don't forget that Take 5 is here for you, if you need to take the edge off.
